What you're listening to, now in your Teams status

A lightweight desktop app that watches your Spotify playback and automatically updates your Microsoft Teams status message. Set it, forget it, and let your team know what's playing.

Windows macOS Linux

How it works

Three connections and you're done.

01

Connect Spotify

Sign in with your Spotify account. The app gets read-only access to your playback state. That's all it needs.

02

Connect Teams

Sign in with your Microsoft work account. The app uses Microsoft Graph to set your presence status message.

03

Close the window

The app minimizes to your system tray. It polls Spotify on a configurable interval and keeps your Teams status in sync. That's it.

Why this app exists

Your music taste deserves to be seen. Quietly, automatically, without lifting a finger.

Spotify aware

Polls the Spotify API for your currently playing track. No browser extensions, no hacks. Just your real playback state.

Teams integrated

Sets your Microsoft Teams status message via Microsoft Graph. Uses delegated permissions—no admin consent needed.

Set it and forget it

Once connected, it runs in your system tray. New track? Status updates. Playback stopped? Status clears. Zero interaction needed.

Custom status format

Use {artist} and {title} placeholders to craft your perfect status message. Add emojis, text, whatever you like.

Your data stays yours

Runs entirely on your machine. Credentials stored locally, never shared. No analytics, no telemetry, no cloud middleman.
